SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Lead to develop the optimized project\'s components and layout.
• Manage the discussion with SEB\'s internal and external stakeholders to align with the overall direction of the Company or State.
• Ensure that designs are fit for purpose and comply with both national and internationally accepted standards.
• Develop the training and development program for subordinates for capacity building of the department.
• Prepare monthly report and other reports as and when required.
• Any other duties as and when instructed by line manager.

• Ability to manage JV partner expectations and protecting SEB interest at the same time.
• Ability to manage international and Indonesia based consultants and contractors.
• Ability to lead engagement with government stakeholders & addressing their concerns.
• Ability to build effective relationships with SEB internal and external stakeholders.
• Well organized and ability to manage competing priorities to deadlines.
• Good risk management and seeking optimum balance between cost, time and quality.
• Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Frequent travel to Indonesia is expected & candidate must be able to learn and adapt fast.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited institution in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with BEM and IEM or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IHA\'s sustainability policy and local environmental legislation, specifically for Hydropower Projects.
• Professional Engineer, PE is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years\' experience in carrying out work related to civil engineering construction or consultancy.
• Experience in planning and developing project schemes, especially for Hydro Electric Project will be an added advantage.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the design and construction of civil and structures especially in Hydropower Project.
• Knowledge of establishing the main parameters for the project, such as flow, head and environmental constraints based on the collected data and information about the power market, hydrology, geology, topography, environment, and socio-economy.
• Knowledge of interpretation of results from Geological Investigation.
• Staff management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English. Competence in Bahasa Malaysia, Indonesia and/or Mandarin is advantageous.
