SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Review conceptual and detailed engineering design including associated design reports, design calculations, test reports and other technical documents.
• Prepare and compile technical specifications for the new tender.
• Provide technical support for tender evaluation.
• Co-lead in civil generic specification development for future hydroelectric project.
• Co-lead Independent Review Panel (IRP) meetings.
• Co-lead in closing engineering gaps identified in HSAP for Baleh HEP.
• Attend to site on rotation basis.
• Conduct technical assessment and quality surveillance at site to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and resolve technical difficulties encountered in design and construction.
• Attend technical meeting, Factory Audit & Testing (FAT) and other formal meetings / testing / inspections as required.
• Ensure projects are completed in compliance with statutory requirements, technical specification and engineering practices.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for enhancing effectiveness in engineering management.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Company from time to time.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Applying practical engineering solution to challenging ground condition particularly in hydropower project.
• Able to strike a balance in managing project engineering progress and diversified needs from internal stakeholders at times.
• Well verse in statutory requirements and able to lead the liaison with external stakeholders particularly submissions to local authorities.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-8 years of working experience in relevant field.
