Overview:
The Contract Manager will oversee all contract lifecycle activities within the Group Technology Division, acting as a key risk mitigation function. This includes:
Thorough review and redrafting of all contracts to identify and address potential risks and areas for improvement.
Specializing in commercial terms (Statement of Work, schedules, pricing/payment terms) to minimize organizational risk and safeguard the Bank's financial and legal interests.
Leading contract negotiations in collaboration with internal teams to secure optimal terms and conditions with vendors.
Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Drafting
Review and redraft (if required) IT related contract terms and conditions on legal and commercial terms (Statement Of Work, Schedule of Work, Pricing Schedule etc.) to ensure alignment to contract owner's operational need and obligations to be imposed to the vendor.
Work closely with Legal, Compliance and other relevant teams to ensure relevant regulatory requirements are included in the contract, where required.
Assist contract owner within Group Technology Division to review the contract content throughout the end-to-end contract management process from preparation to execution and renewal with objectives to minimize risk and protect the Bank's interest.
Negotiation and Stakeholder Collaboration
Assist contract owner, IT Sourcing & Procurement contract team, Project Managers, and Legal to negotiate terms and conditions with vendor.
Single point of contact (SPOC) for IT for any matters concerning contracts. Work closely with the IT Sourcing & Procurement contract team, Project Managers, IT Contract Owner (mostly Infrastructure and Security Operations) and Legal.
Actively involved to solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally.
Administration and Lifecycle Management
Track new contract and contract renewal.
Assist contract owner within Group Technology Division to review the contract content throughout the end-to-end contract management process from preparation to execution and renewal with objectives to minimize risk and protect the Bank's interest.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Legal, IT or any related degree or diploma.
5 years and above related experience in IT contract management with reviewing, drafting and negotiating roles, especially for infrastructure and security related contracts. Legal background preferred.
Well-versed with IT contract template structure, common legal clauses, compliance requirements and common commercial terms including exit strategy etc.
Knowledgeable in contract drafting, experienced in potential risks and benefits of any contract.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, collaborative and negotiation skills.
