THE CLIENT

The company is a diversified multinational corporation listed in Bursa Malaysia, with interests in Plantations, Oleochemical and Property Development.

In the last decade, they has established a niche for building quality townships. Among its best-known showpieces located in Sungai Buloh and provides residents all the elements of a contemporary urban sanctuary close to the city. The Client has large tracts of plantation landbank located in Selangor and Johor already earmarked for development.

• Responsible for undertaking and coordinating tender documentations, evaluation and value engineering proposals to meet the company\'s objective of achieving optimum design solutions.
• Provide advice on construction costs, prepare cost plans and carry out cost checks, to ensure cost efficient designs for buildings, earthwork and infrastructure works
• Verify claims, variations, final accounts and budget report.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure accuracy of tender clarification and timely execution of Main Contract or Sub Contract agreements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with contract terms, regulations, and legal requirements. Identify potential risks and issues related to contracts and work to mitigate them. Develop strategies to manage and minimize contractual disputes.
• Participate in contract negotiations and procurement activities to secure favorable terms for the organization. Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and vendors.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent with minimum 10 years working experience in property development, project and construction management.
• Strong skills in tenders and contract administration, design evaluation, value engineering and cost control.
• Self-driven, meticulous and possess a high degree of initiative and integrity.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and proactive in obtaining results.
• Must be computer literate and willing to work as a committed team player.
