AVEVA is looking to hire a Contracts Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur who is a dynamic, hands on and mature professional and who takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to complex issues.

The successful candidate is responsible for the lifecycle of AVEVA contracts for the APAC region and will provide timely advice to various internal stakeholders, particularly the Sales organization. The contracts administrator should be one who has exceptional business acumen, integrity and ethics. He/she will need the street smarts and skillsets to digest complex and cross-border issues and build relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

Be an integral part of the continued growth of AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s commercial deal pursuits that arises in APAC region

Prepare, manage and administer AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s standard template contracts and licensing management execution for the APAC region

Familiarity with a wide variety of commercial contracts including but not limited to software services agreements, maintenance agreements, statement of works, consultancy agreements, global contractual framework agreements

Liaise with and be the point of contact for internal business clients and members of the legal, finance and sales departments

Lead and assist with various special projects as may be assigned such as policies and processes; improving contract management process and educating internal teams to ensure conformity and consistency in application of relevant policies

Prepare contract summaries and administer the contracts signature process to aid in contract execution

Management of a centralized file, storage and documentation system for all AVEVA contracts

Assist in developing best practices, procedures and structure to facilitate the APAC operations and business

Requirements

Around 5 years of experience as a contracts administrator with contract drafting experience gained in an international corporation

Experience with global IT services company providing software licensing and maintenance services an advantage

Good experience of working within a busy customer contracts environment

Finance or business degree or diploma required

Sound judgment, strong communication skills

Good command of spoken and written English

Working proficiency in Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean would be a significant advantage

Ability to work in fast paced environment to ensure that contracts and licenses for software products and services are issued or renewed on time

Familiar with business culture and ethics in Asia and experienced in international business horizon

Possess superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
