Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes to order with precision, consistency, and attention to presentation
Adhere strictly to company SOPs for food preparation, cooking techniques, portioning, and plating
Handle daily mise en place efficiently to ensure seamless service during operating hours
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Minimize food waste through careful planning and proper storage, supporting cost-efficiency
Assist the Outlet Chef and Assistant Chef in kitchen coordination and team workflow
Execute accurate opening and closing procedures as per company protocol
Manage ingredient inventory: proper labeling, FIFO rotation, and storage practices
Support onboarding and training for new kitchen staff, promoting best practices and teamwork
Take on additional kitchen duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Requirements
Minimum
2
years of proven experiencein a commercial kitchen (required)
Solid knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety protocols
Able to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and time management
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must possess a valid
Malaysian IC
