Assisting head chef in day to day operation To prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety regulations at all times. Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to the menu and standard recipes. Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature. Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portioning. Support daily kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen team members. Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, especially during peak hours. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety standards Ensure proper storage of food items to avoid contamination and spoilage. Monitor and record food temperatures and expiry dates. Cooperate with other kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment. Attend briefings, training, and meetings as required.
