Copyright & Royalty Assistant (1 Year contract)

Purpose of Role

Under the direction and supervision of the Copyright Assistant Manager is responsible for, including but not limited to, handling a variety of administrative tasks including verifying claims, data entry & royalty matching. Key responsibilities will include administration of all areas of Warner Chappell Music's Catalogues across WCM Malaysia and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Verifying claims against publishing system song lists, label copies

Data entry for new song creations/ amendments of existing song

Matching royalty income against publishing system

Data entry for royalty income

Merging royalty statements into excel files

Additional ad hoc responsibilities supporting administration of all areas of Warner Chappell's catalogues

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Music or Administration or equivalent

Computer literacy is essential for this role.

Ability to work under pressure.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent team player contributing to the team success.

Good command in spoken and written Mandarin and English as this role supports China, Hong Kong and Taiwan office
