The OpportunityOur client, Established in 2010, this financial group specializes in asset management, wealth management, trustee services, and financial information platforms. With over a decade of experience, it targets core asset classes in Australia and pursues primary market opportunities with innovative strategies. Catering to high-net-worth investors, it offers investments in fixed-income, private equity, and IPOs. Managing assets over A$600 million, the group emphasizes value-added wealth management and diversified asset allocation.As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with external tax agents for quarterly BAS lodgment, prepare monthly Income Activity Statements, manage monthly payroll tax, and reconcile year-end payroll tax.
  • Process monthly payroll, administer quarterly superannuation contributions, finalize Single Touch Payroll annually, and prepare employee payment summaries.
  • Conduct data entry, manage accounts payable, process invoices, reconcile accounts, operate financial management software, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance and audit activities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Ensure accuracy through account reconciliation and discrepancy resolution. Generate reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with senior management on annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement. Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and implement internal controls. Provide training and support to junior accounting staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
Skill, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance or anything related.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience desired
  • Proficiency with financial software like XERO and Excel
  • CPA/CA qualification preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data
  • Understanding of financial processes and guidelines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus
  • Excellent Communication skills verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
