Job Description

1. Corporate Documentation & Records Management

Prepare, review, and maintain corporate documents such as agreements, resolutions, board papers, and minutes.

Ensure all corporate records, statutory registers, and filing systems are accurate and updated.

Assist in preparing documentation for corporate exercises (e.g., restructuring, IPO, share transfers, mergers & acquisitions).

2. Regulatory Compliance & Filing

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

Assist in preparing and submitting statutory filings to regulators such as SSM, Bursa Malaysia, SC, and other authorities.

Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.

3. Support for Corporate Governance Activities

Coordinate preparation for board and shareholder meetings, including compiling meeting packs and drafting minutes.

Assist in implementing governance policies and internal compliance procedures.

Provide support to senior management on corporate governance matters.

4. Due Diligence & Legal Support

Perform due diligence, research, and analysis for corporate transactions or regulatory requirements.

Review basic legal documents and highlight key terms or compliance risks.

Coordinate with external legal firms, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with internal teams (finance, HR, operations) for corporate information and documentation.

Communicate with external stakeholders including legal advisors, auditors, company secretary, and regulators.

Provide administrative and coordination support for corporate projects and regulatory submissions.

6. Project & Transaction Support

Assist in corporate exercises such as IPO preparation, acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate approvals.

Track project timelines, maintain status reports, and ensure document accuracy for submission.

Manage confidential documents with high discretion and professional integrity.

7. Administrative & Reporting Duties

Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation updates for management or the board.

Maintain digital and physical filing systems in an organized and secure manner.

Support ad-hoc tasks related to corporate governance, legal affairs, compliance, or special projects.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Rembau (Rembau): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:

100% (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
