As a major and reputable company in Oil & Gas, their involvement in refining and retailing of world-class quality of petroleum products and related services, helps the country to meet its energy demands and contributes to the overall socio-economy advancements.

Position: Corporate Communications Coordinator

Location: Damansara Heights

Tenure: 1 year Contract with renewable basis/ converted to permanent

Remuneration: Up to RM 3500

Working Hour: Standard (5 days)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Communications Coordinator role is to assist Corporate Affairs Department in its day-to-day communications program with stakeholders, primarily employees, media and public.
  • Supports Department in media management; drafting of press release, disseminating official statements to media, inviting and following up media attendance to events, and updating the media database.
  • Prepares daily media monitoring updates and media analysis, on monthly and yearly basis or as required.
  • Drafting contents for publications/employee newsletter and sourcing for photographs or images for quarterly publications. Work closely with internal departments to create contents. Create the newsletter content layout for approval and publication.
  • Creating and updating new contents as well as keeping the information up-to-date for website and Intranet as well as social media such as Facebook.
  • Supports Department in events management such as preparation of venue, overall coordination with external vendors, door gifts and photo-taking.
  • Custodian of photo library and news clipping; to classify and record inventory photo and news.
  • Supports the Company video production for internal events.
  • Supports department's bugdet planning and management.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa with good writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, good organizing skills, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Should have relevant 1-2 years of experience in Communications or equivalent and a graduate with Communications or equivalent degree. Experience in journalism is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in photo editing and video making.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and/or Premier Pro is an added advantage.
