Job Description

Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents (both internal and external). Assist in the development and improvement of legal templates, standard operating procedures and compliance frameworks. Provide legal support across departments, including contractual rights, obligations and risk assessments. Support corporate functions on legal related matters. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. Monitor and assess regulatory and legal developments, ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders. Perform other legal duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

Malaysian citizen with a law degree (LLB or equivalent) recognized in Malaysia. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification legal experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and etc. Prior experience in contract negotiation, dispute resolution or corporate advisory is an added advantage. Strong legal research, analytical, communication and negotiation skills. Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to deliver clear and concise legal support. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively. Highly organized, self-motivated, resourceful and fast learner. A team player with pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
