About the company Our client is a professional corporate secretarial consulting entity providing full spectrum of secretarial services to several listed companies and group of highly successful businesses in Malaysia. Due to expansion and restructuring in recent time, they need to build a strong company secretarial team to ensure company compliance and champion corporate governance matters. With the business undergoing rapid expansion, they are currently seeking professional ICSA graduate to assume the role of Corporate Secretary,Senior Executive/Assistant Manager based at their corporate head office at Mid Valley City, KL. The role would suite an ICSA graduate with some previous secretarial experience ideally working within a listed environment and who is looking to take more significant role of shareholder communications, assist in year end annual report process and also attend board meetings as Minutes Secretary capacity. The incumbent must be able to prepare agendas and coordinate general meetings whereby English language skills is required. Role & Responsibilities You will be working along and supporting the Group Company Secretary in carrying out all the core company secretarial responsibilities for all allocated number of subsidiary companies. This would include statutory compliance, year end routine secretarial duties and advise on and compliance with the listing rules/requirements and some ad hoc management projects. You will assist company secretarial and administrative support to the Group Company Secretary to ensure the companies comply with obligations under all relevant legislation. The candidate We are looking for female professionals with ICSA qualification to assume this role. Ideally candidates should be a ICSA graduate although those with partial qualified ICSA with significant corporate secretarial experience will be duly considered. This is a senior role. As such candidates vying for this position must have a proven corporate secretarial experience, especially in public listed company environment. A good knowledge of Companies Act 1965 and well versed in listing requirements will be highly regarded. To be considered, candidates must possess a good command of spoken and written English, besides conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
