Job Description

As a Cost Accountant, you will manage cost accounting, inventory reporting and control, production reporting, product costing, monthly operations reporting, general ledger account reconciliations, and the annual budgeting cycle for Asia Pacific entities including China region. This role will report to APAC Senior Finance Manager and the office is based in Shah Alam.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manufacturing month end closing and send evaluations & analysis in monthly basis and communicate the result to Stakeholder professionally.

Provide crucial data on inventory control, activity-based costing, and operational performance to stakeholders with in-depth information.

Prepare Manufacturing budgets annually by coordinating with stakeholders and related department

Review spending, growth projections and helps with product pricing and process evaluations

Conduct Account Analysis review in Trintech in monthly basis for all Costing related GLA

Perform Costing Run quarterly on Standard Cost Method and Price updates.

Participate in project assigned on costing related (If any)

Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Manufacturing costing with solution insights using data analysis and monitoring of variance data.

Knowledge in Microsoft Excel of formulas, formats, and functions, pivot tables, macros, templates, and the scenario analysis

Knowledge in accounting systems such as SAP S4, Oracle & QAD

Experienced in managing various stakeholders, with Mandarin speaking capabilities (i.e. accountants, managers, clients, suppliers) to collaborate tasks and queries with regards to data accuracy in order to produce budgets, evaluations and recommendations.

Experienced in report writing and presentation to deliver their reports and analyses insightfully and effectively.

Experienced in data organization.
