Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Process daily manufacturing transactions within the ERP system, including material issues, production order completions, and labor postings. Support the cycle count and physical inventory processes by preparing count sheets, recording results, and helping to investigate variances. Assist month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries for inventory, overhead, and cost of goods sold. Help compile data for production variance analysis (e.g., purchase price variance, labor efficiency variance). Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for account reconciliations related to inventory. Generate and distribute routine inventory and cost reports. Perform periodic and ad-hoc data extraction from the ERP system to support gross margin analyses. Help prepare standard cost rolls for review by the senior accountant. Maintain organized and well-documented files for all cost accounting activities. Follow the company's standard operating procedures and internal controls for all inventory movements and transactions. Provide supporting documentation for both internal and external audits.

Job Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or data entry role. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a

strong plus

. Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
