Position Title Cost Accounting & Senior Finance Executive

\xe3\x83\xbbPrepare and submit full set of account accurately in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

\xe3\x83\xbbPrepare and submit timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports and perform financial analysis.

\xe3\x83\xbbCashflow, AR, AP, AR, Other GL, Cashbook, Journals, Inventories, Reconciliation accounts.

\xe3\x83\xbbPrepare yearly budget; monthly, quarterly & yearly forecast, explanations for major variances.

\xe3\x83\xbbResponsible for product costing analysis and gross margin analysis for the Company.

\xe3\x83\xbbEnsure compliance with financial, statutory and regulatory legislations, policies and procedures and deadlines.

\xe3\x83\xbbLiaise with banks, auditors, tax agent, company secretary, external professional and government bodies and any other finance issues.

\xe3\x83\xbbMonitor and improve finance workflows, internal controls and processes.

\xe3\x83\xbbHandle all finance & account relation functions

\xe3\x83\xbbGuidance and delegate job task to subordinate

\xe3\x83\xbbAny other ad hoc task as and when assigned by superior.

\xe3\x83\xbbParticipates in strategic cost savings and other value-added initiatives within the operations, inventory, and costing functions

\xe3\x83\xbbResponsible for all Management Accounting and Inventory Control related financial activities.

\xe3\x83\xbbLead quarterly financial projection, working with cross functional and finance teams

\xe3\x83\xbbLead Management Accounting team in monthly closing and daily tasks which includes product costing, BOM and routing updates, work order analysis, inventory management and variance reporting

\xe3\x83\xbbLead the annual interim and year-end Physical Inventory exercises of the company, which include the co-ordination with inventory owners, analysis and reconciliation of the inventory count results working with cross functional teams

\xe3\x83\xbbContinuous review of cost accounting system to ensure that the system and processes support business goals and improve work productivity within the company. Lead and/or participate in the on-going improvement of financial & business processes within the company

\xe3\x83\xbbReview internal controls of the inventory function to ensure that proper controls are operating effectively and in-compliance with company policies

\xe3\x83\xbbLead monthly Financial Review meetings with Leadership and middle management teams, which focusses on financial risks and opportunities, to drive towards achieving plant goals. This includes preparation of the monthly financial review package, working with other Finance team members

\xe3\x83\xbbSupport Operations team on capacity and headcount planning and analysis, labor efficiency and absorption variance reporting and analysis

\xe3\x83\xbbWork with various business teams/ functional departments to provide financial expertise on plant projects - identify the key value drivers, cost savings opportunities & risks for each business projects. This includes verification of project savings and assess financial feasibility on project payback period/returns

\xe3\x83\xbbResponsible for the coaching and development of Finance & Accounting team members

Requirements \xe2\x9c\x93At least graduated bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance or other accounting-related fields

\xe2\x9c\x93At least 5 years in Financial Accounting of manufacturing industries. (Compulsory)

\xe2\x9c\x93Has an experience in Cost Accounting Management and Analysis

\xe2\x9c\x93Good technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations

\xe2\x9c\x93Analytical, resourceful, organized, responsible, problem-solving skills and committed to meet tight deadlines

\xe2\x9c\x93Familiar with Excel, Word, Power Point and ERP accounting software

\xe2\x9c\x93Good command of written & spoken in English

\xe2\x9c\x93Organization and multi-tasking skills

\xe2\x9c\x93Good communication skills with internal and external customer
