Job Description

As a Cost Control Operation Manager, you will be responsible for day to day operations of purchase approvals, cost planning and saving strategies. Your main objective is to improve efficiencies by identifying financial risks and implementing cost-saving measures. Develop and implement cost control strategies that align with organisation\'s objectives and drive cost savings. Oversee purchasing process from selection of vendor to contract negotiation and ensure timely recording of delivery order and invoice received. Review and negotiate with vendors, including software and systems by comparing features, capabilities, and costs. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide guidance on best practises. Analyse market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practises. Monitor and report on key cost control metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance and purchase cycle times.
