Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Costing Assistant to support our costing and finance team in daily costing activities. The successful candidate will assist in preparing product cost breakdowns, collecting data from production and purchasing departments, and maintaining accurate costing records in the system. This role provides valuable exposure to manufacturing cost control and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and updating product costing sheets, including materials, labour, and overhead. Gather and verify cost-related data from production and purchasing teams. Support the preparation of cost variance and margin analysis reports. Maintain and update costing data in the ERP or accounting system. Help in monitoring production costs and identifying potential cost-saving areas. Participate in monthly stock take and inventory valuation. Provide administrative and analytical support to the Costing Executive or Accountant.
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Management background also considered.) Min. 2 years of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and able to work under supervision.
Added Advantage:

Exposure to product costing, inventory management, or basic accounting. Familiar with Bill of Materials (BOM) or production process flow.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
