Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain cost sheets for products, services, and engineering projects related to railway manufacturing, maintenance, or infrastructure. Collect and analyze cost data including raw materials, labor, production, logistics, and overheads. Monitor project costs and provide variance analysis between actual and standard/budgeted costs. Assist in product pricing, tender costing, and contract analysis in coordination with the Sales and Project teams. Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering departments to assess cost impacts of design or supplier changes. Prepare periodic costing reports and dashboards for management review. Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standards. Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement across departments. Maintain accurate costing records in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Costing, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or railway-related industries.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles. Familiarity with railway systems, components, or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
