Fresh graduates in accounting; or

2-3 years or more of related experience

Manufacturing industry background preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for analyzing financial information to assist management in making informed business decisions regarding cost control, budgeting, and overall financial performance. This role will encompass various tasks related to cost accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Need to work closely with internal stakeholders, such as management, production engineers, and finance teams, to provide accurate and timely financial insights.

Conduct detailed analysis of costs associated with production, operations, services, identify cost drivers and monitor cost trends to support cost control initiatives;

Implement measures to reduce costs, improve efficiency, enhance profitability, regularly review cost allocation methods and ensure accuracy in cost reporting.

Assist in the preparation of management accounts, annual budgets, periodic forecasts and collaborate with department heads to develop realistic budget estimates;

Maintain and enhance costing systems to ensure accuracy reliability of cost data, streamline cost accounting processes and implement best practices;

Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements and participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives;

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls;

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
