DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Costing & Financial Analysis

Manage and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 for cost tracking, variance analysis, and reporting. Understanding costing models; perform cost analysis and ensure accurate cost allocation across manufacturing processes. Apply principles of cost accounting (standard cost, costing sheets, trade agreements) and management accounting (budgeting, variance analysis, margin tracking). Update standard costs in D365 product master (Raw Material and Packing Material) and analyze Actual vs. Standard Cost variances.

System & Data Management

Understand product modelling workflows in D365 (e.g., BOM, configuration models) to support costing accuracy.

Reporting & Forecasting

Generate reports on costing KPIs, margin performance, and profitability to support strategic decisions. Perform month-end closing procedures and ensure timely submission reports, including Inventory/COGS GL reconciliation. Assist in periodical forecasts and budget/business plan preparation.

Inventory & Asset Management

Responsible for half-year and full-year inventory counts, ensuring proper and timely execution. Support Fixed Asset management including timely capitalization and asset counts. Conduct periodic analysis of potential write-off risks for stock and fixed assets. In charge on the inventory closing and adjustments.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with finance, production, and supply chain teams to align cost structures with business goals. Support by providing insights to the Operations Team for cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with

major in Accounting

or professional Accountancy qualification, in ACCA, CIMA

or equivalent preferred. 2-4 years of working experience in costing or financial analysis in a manufacturing company. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Excel. Familiarity with cost accounting methods (standard cost, weighted average) and management accounting practices. Basic understanding of product modelling concepts (BOM, configuration rules).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
