About Our Client
Our client is a competitive player within the manufacturing industry in Malaysia with their products present in over 5 continents globally. They are currently seeking for an individual who can lead the cost accounting team and drive changes internally. This role will be based at their manufacturing plant located in Selangor.

About Your Role

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Guiding and managing the cost accounting function with application and usage of various costing methodologies
• Inventory management and supervising periodic stock-takes
• Business partnering with Manufacturing and Operations team
• Conduct various analysis related to commercials and profitability
• Continuous improvement

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.),
• A minimum of 10 years working experience, of which 8 years are dedicated to cost accounting,
• Prior industry exposure to manufacturing, with a strong familiarity with cost accounting methodologies,
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems,
• A proven track record of the ability to guide a team, establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, and strong work ethics.
