About the Role: We\'re actively seeking an experienced Costing and Working Capital Accountant with a deep understanding of SaaS operations to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you\'ll play a pivotal part in optimizing costing methodologies and managing working capital to enhance financial efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass cost analysis, inventory management, forecasting, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making. Responsibilities Costing and Pricing Optimization: Analyse SaaS product/service costs to ensure accurate pricing and maximize profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine optimal pricing strategies. Develop cost models to support strategic decision-making for new offerings. Manage 3rd party cost of sales reporting and month end booking accuracy Working Capital Management: Monitor and manage working capital components, including receivables, payables, and inventory. Develop strategies to minimise working capital cycles while maintaining operational efficiency. Fixed Asset Register Management Intangible asset amortisation and reconciliation Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform variance analysis between actual costs and budgets, identifying opportunities for improvement. Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations to facilitate data-driven decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to costing and working capital. Process Enhancement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for costing and working capital management. Implement best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. Leverage technology and automation to streamline financial processes. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or professional certification (CMA, CIMA) is a plus. Substantial experience in finance and accounting roles, with a specific focus on costing, working capital, and SaaS operations. In-depth understanding of SaaS financial dynamics, including subscription models and recurring revenue. Proficiency in financial software, ERPs, and advanced Excel for financial analysis. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with cost modeling, pricing optimization, and working capital management. Strategic mindset and the ability to contribute to high-level financial decision-making. Adaptability to evolving SaaS industry trends and business requirements. A track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
