About the position: Sales, Marketing and business development Accountable for revenue generation in Malaysia Ensure the organization is structured correctly to go after business growth on Payments in Malaysia, limiting ambiguity around Roles and Responsibilities to drive and support the Invenco product line Drive strategy and partners in Malaysia and assist across SEA as needed Management of key partners e.g. NCR, Strateq, Ingenico Lead direct OPT deals in Malaysia Work with the regional GVR business to contribute to strategy in SEA Lead new vertical expansion and technology initiatives in Malaysia Develop long and short-term revenue earning opportunities For targeted customers understand their businesses and challenges faced and deliver solutions to meet their commercial strategies Build payments industry relationships and contacts that will lead to increased sales opportunities Negotiate sales deals in collaboration with the business and stakeholders Accurately develop and report on sales forecast and pipeline Manage the commercial results in line with the company objectives and goals Drive the development and presentation of business cases and solutions Respond directly or help partners respond to RFPs Identify and work with partners to put together offerings that meet business needs. Innovation, market research and analysis Pro-actively identify new commercial opportunities and work with engineering and software team members on product roadmaps Help develop / play a key advisory role to develop a SEA Payments strategy for promoting business outside Malaysia Keep abreast of competitive product offerings and emerging technologies Identify and promote new ideas/business opportunity areas to the rest of the team Provide accurate information to the relevant teams on market trends and competitor activity Identify opportunities for the business to provide value added solutions and services to its customers Fully understand, report and advise on markets including, but not limited to: a. Our value proposition in the market b. The competitive landscape c. The market readiness for our products Actively engage with the team in Invenco by GVR by providing qualified, documented information on trends which will enable them to provide new products, or enhance the present ones to drive sales revenue Contribute to developing our OEM business strategy Payments Industry Participation Liaise with product management team to ensure our products meet the certifications (UL, Weights & Measures, etc.) for OPT hardware and network compliance for use in the relevant markets Participation in trade shows, workshop in payments, retail petroleum and hospitality segments Oversee Partner Account Management Develop and oversee partner account management strategy for the region(s) Oversee formulation and publishing of annual account management plans Deliver accurate forecasting of projected sales for each customer and product/service and maintain accurate account reporting Remain active in anticipating client needs and issues and takes timely steps to address these needs Maintain a regular call schedule with customer contacts and reports on customer feedback and customer calls Achieve regular and repeat business from customers, maximizing company product and service penetration into the client Your experience: We are looking for someone with the following experience: Essential 10 + Years of Senior sales leadership and business management experience in the business to business technology sector Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal Demonstrate skills in business and strategy development Skilled in managing complex negotiations and putting together complex business deals and contracts No restrictions to travel within Malaysia to do the role with occasional need across SEA Qualified to at least bachelor level in Engineering/Business Desirable: Experience in Channel Development MBA/Leadership school graduate.
