Reporting to Head of Legal Singapore, you will assist in providing legal advisory services and ensuring strategic and operational management of across the countries, including consulting on integrity issues.
Your responsibilities:
You will be working with Head of Legal to provide legal advice and counsel to management and overseas all disputes and litigation matters.
You will be assisting Head of Legal in driving and ensuring consistency in legal services and advice provided by the Legal & Integrity function to the respective Country Managers, Business Units and Region.
You will be assisting Head of Legal to ensure good corporate governance and adherence to integrity in the Countries including integrity training, ongoing monitoring of relevant policies.
You will negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders.
You will provide legal support on ancillary matters including but not limited to data protection, intellectual property, insurance, M&A, trade finance and company secretarial matters.
You will monitor legal affairs and risk management of the Countries and Business, including litigation case management and co-ordination with external counsel.
Proactively protecting business interests by anticipating and identifying legal issues of concern to Management.

Your background:
A bachelor\'s and/or master\'s degree in law, ideally from a leading university, preferably candidates admitted to the Bar in Malaysia.
Minimum 5years of experience in a related field; international or regional experience would be advantageous.
Sound knowledge of common law with strong experience both in-house and with a law firm.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with excellent English communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
