Operations:

\xc2\xb7 Set-up, Oversees and manage the day-to-day operation of all local business functions.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with company standards including costing of proposals.

\xc2\xb7 Manage and maintain Licensing and governmental relationships

\xc2\xb7 Apply for and update the licenses and certificates required for the company\'s operation

\xc2\xb7 Drive initiative to develop Malaysia\'s production and sampling capabilities.

\xc2\xb7 Resolving all operational issues together with the departments involved.

\xc2\xb7 Develop all operational processes and policies to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

\xc2\xb7 Build up the Malaysia team operations which includes the following:

\xc2\xb7 Oversee employee hiring, mentoring, coaching and management of employees according to existing Company\'s structure.

\xc2\xb7 Work with department heads to set, implement and monitor objectives and strategies to meet the strategic direction of the company.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular reviews for all departments to ensure all targets are being met.

\xc2\xb7 To explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Business strategy and Business development\xef\xbc\x9a

\xc2\xb7 Work with regional Business Development team to develop effective sales strategy and ensure compliance with Company objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Gather competitor market information and guide business teams to specify promotion and business strategies.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders like suppliers and inter-departments.

\xc2\xb7 Developing in-depth knowledge of the Catalytic Converters and other precious metals recycling business to identify profitable business opportunities.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Business Units to develop sales strategies to improve and drive company\'s marketing and sales performance in sales lead generation for Catalytic Converters and other precious metals.

\xc2\xb7 Identify and recommend new market segments or niches in the recycling of precious metals that is in tandem with the Company\'s growth strategy

\xc2\xb7 Drive the business with full P&L responsibility.

\xc2\xb7 Develop forecasting plan and set budget to meet the business goals.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct research on emerging trends, recommend and execute new business development initiatives to drive business growth.

\xc2\xb7 Driving innovation, and continuous improvement in support of company opportunities.

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Management or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar role and manufacturing industry.

\xc2\xb7 Strong English and mandarin (written and spoken) is essential to liaise with counterpart.

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with applying and updating licenses, e.g. business license\\manufactory license

\xc2\xb7 Willing to travel.

\xc2\xb7 Working Location: Malaysia

\xc2\xb7 Proficient on computer programs needed for position such as: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

\xc2\xb7 Fast learner.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the recycling and waste management industry is required.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical skills for program costing, budget development and strategic planning.

\xc2\xb7 Leadership management experience is essential.

\xc2\xb7 Possess the professional acumen to represent the Company in attending external meetings.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

\xc2\xb7 Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work effectively both independently and in a team.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
