We are looking for a driven leader who is a self-starter. He or she will report to the Country Head and lead the team under his/her charge to drive the sales volume and profit margins for the country. The candidate is expected to lead, organize and map out the marketing direction and business strategies, determine competitive pricing and developadvertising and promotion programs to achieve the objectives. These include increasing the market share and brand perception for the business in Malaysia as well as devising effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets. Personal qualities include a flexible approach to doing business, a very keen business acumen, and a strong sense of integrity andprofessionalism.
Leading the company and ensuring all employees buy into the company vision.
Set the overall strategic direction of the company.
Plan and implement cost effective business strategies to achieve the company\xe2\x80\x99s targets.
Regular review with the finance team to review the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance.
Working closely with the Singapore Headquarters on sales, marketing and aftersales strategies.
Maintain and sustain existing business partnerships with dealers in the network.
Regularly review and improve processes to drive productivity and improve sales.
Manage company-wide KPI\xe2\x80\x99s to evaluate company performance in all areas.
Analyzing opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability.
Ensure Bottom Line Profitability.
Requirement for role:
Proven track record of successfully managing similar sized organizations.
10+ years of relevant experience as Country Director, General Manager or related title in motor trade industry
Target driven and results focused individual.
Natural leader and motivator of people.
Very familiar with the Malaysia car industry, policies and regulations.
Up-to-date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.
Possess strategic sales planning skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
Familiar with management best practices.
Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
Hands-on approach towards work.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills for internal and external contacts.
