As CP Commercial Lead, you will manage a portfolio of contracts that is aligned with Shell?s Category Management Contracting & Procurement (CMCP) guidelines, you will be responsible for in-direct management of junior commercial leads in the Global Lubes APAC team and lead various value improvement initiatives. Accountable for aggregating third-party spending and developing/executing the sourcing strategy to optimize Shell?s buying power and reduce the overall spending for the APAC region. You will ensure that the sourcing strategy is aligned with category strategy (if applicable) and with Business/Function priorities through regular engagement with key business stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers. The intent is for business continuity while maintaining supply chain competitiveness.

• Working with various customers and stakeholders to execute Category Management commercial work plans, assuring a supply of contracts at market competitive terms and conditions, as well as delivering value
• Contracting and procuring services as well as developing and managing local agreements under the direction of the Local Procurement Lead and Global Category Manager as appropriate.
• Applying supply/value chain analyses and Total Cost of Ownership modeling
• Scoping local projects, and analyzing CP business requirements and external market dynamics
• Developing and executing commercial contract strategies as well as commercially managing operational and tactical agreements
• Ensuring all commercial activity is fully aligned with the Global Category Management commercial strategies and Tail spend principle
• Managing one-off Purchase Orders - Reduce/rationalize the number of Contracts/Suppliers

What do we need from you?

• Strong commercial sense and understanding of procurement.
• With 5 to 7 years of procurement experience including Tactical Contracts Management, Contract Strategy Building, Pre-award process, and Post-award Process.
• Practical knowledge of Category Management process ? documented by participation in regional/global projects.
• Great negotiations skills, proven by strong CI delivery.
• High-energy individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, good people skills, and the ability to deliver.
• Strong Business Partnering skills.
• Engineering and project management experience will be an advantage.
• Professional CP qualification preferred, CIPS Certification (or similar) is an added advantage.
• Organized and able to manage competing priorities team player
• Analytical, Continuous Improvement and digital mindset
