Your responsibilities are:

Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table, based on meaningful insights of the Malaysian market. Able to write engaging and grammatically clean Bahasa Melayu (priority) and English (secondary) for multiple formats; ranging from engaging scripts and headlines to memorable taglines and effective calls to action. Involved in strategizing and copywriting. Effective and compelling in verbal presentation to stakeholders at varying levels, with an ability to bring to life concepts and strategies. Partners well with other creatives to develop original campaigns. Conduct research to familiarize the client's product, target audience and competitors activities in the market. Develop creative content strategy using text form. Working with creative professionals to come out with creative concept. Creating social media content that is engaging, shareable and conversation worthy. Writing copy to engage the reader and generating creative ideas to reach targeted outcome. Producing original, clear and credible ideas/messages/scripts, and presenting to the team. Carry out editorial and proofreading duties before deliver the work.

Requirements:

Possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Advertising, English Journalism, Marketing or equivalent. Proven experience as a Senior Copywriter or similar role with minimum 1 - 3 years' experience in digital media, e-commerce marketing or agency industry. Have basic to intermediate knowledge in advertisement (e.g IG ads,Tiktok ads, GG ads, FB ads) Have interest in humanitarian project or volunteerism activities. Fluent in both verbal and written English and Malay. Mandarin is a plus. Mastery of the Malay language, with English as secondary. Accuracy both in terms of grammar and information, as adverts must not be misleading. Knowledge and adapt to popular culture, and new advertising trend and techniques. Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets. Proven work as a Creative Writer, Copywriter or related role. Work well in a team. Have an eye for detail. Portfolio of published content is a must.
