Job Details Brand: shakalakaa (https://shakalakaa.my) Job Type: Full time (1 month probation, minimum 6 months employment period) Working Days and Hours: Flexible, subject to assigned work Work Model: Hybrid (up to 10 days monthly in office) Work Location (if required to be at office): Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur Job Responsibilities Conceptualize and design eye-catching social media graphics, including posts, banners, and ads, to effectively convey brand messages and engage the target audience. Collaborate with the Social Media Team to develop visually appealing and on-brand content for various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in design and messaging. Initiate contact, communicate, and continuously follow up with our clients on content direction, content strategies, and content requirements for their brands. Create and adapt designs for different formats and platforms, optimizing visuals for mobile and desktop viewing. Stay up-to-date with design trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms to continually innovate and enhance content strategy for our clients\' brands. Assist in the planning and scheduling of social media content, ensuring timely and relevant delivery of visuals in alignment with campaigns and promotions. Source and manipulate high-quality images, illustrations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall impact of social media posts. Support in video editing and motion graphics creation for dynamic and engaging social media content. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to evolve the social media presence and user engagement of our clients\' brands. Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content, using insights to iterate and optimize future design strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive brand identity and storytelling across all social media channels. Guide and supervise interns on their daily tasks and responsibilities. Knowledge and hands-on experience in social media content are required. Relevant working experience in the social media marketing field is an added advantage. Knowledge, experience and skills on video editing are added advantages. Minimum SPM holder for Malaysians or any equivalent for non-Malaysians. Graduates in Arts, Creative, Graphics Design, or Media disciplines have an added advantage. Strong communication skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team. Able to consistently meet deadlines, multi-tasking and problem-solving with strong attention to detail. Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Fluent in writing and spoken communication in English AND Mandarin. Bahasa Malaysia (Malay) is an added advantage. Analytical, data-driven person with strong problem solving skills. Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferable.
