This role is essential for ensuring timely payments, maintaining healthy cash flow, and minimizing bad debts. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve account and payment-related issues, enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to the financial health of our organization.Day-to-day, you will:Client Communication: Liaise with clients via phone and email to ensure prompt payment.
Inquiry Resolution: Manage customer inquiries related to finance/accounts through Salesforce.
Collections Management: Contact overdue clients, handle credit notes, and manage dunning activities, including debtor claims.
Reporting: Prepare reports on debtor functions and cash management, including cash forecasting.
Cash Receipts: Process and review daily cash receipts, ensuring unallocated cash is reconciled.
Internal Collaboration: Work with sales, finance, and legal teams to resolve account/payment issues.
Debtor Reports: Generate and analyze debtors\' reports to facilitate cash collection meetings with internal stakeholders.
Target Achievement: Focus on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual collections targets.
Process Improvement: Develop and maintain credit control processes and SOP documentation.
Action Plans: Establish plans to resolve open items in debtor accounts.
Support Initiatives: Support regional or global Order to Cash projects.
Collection Activities: Maintain comprehensive notes on collection actions and ensure consistent end-to-end collection activities.Your skills and experiences might also include:Fluent in written and spoken English.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience in collections/accounts receivable or customer service (advantageous).
