Description Primary Objective: * Manage the credit evaluation and approval functions of Credit Evaluation Department (CED) * Recommend and approve credit application within delegated credit authority * Ensure service standard on turnaround Description Primary Objective: Manage the credit evaluation and approval functions of Credit Evaluation Department (CED) Recommend and approve credit application within delegated credit authority Ensure service standard on turnaround time for credit applications processing are consistently met Key Responsibilities: Independently appraise and evaluate PLM credit application to ensure that quality assets are booked. Approve credit applications within his/her Delegated Lending/Financing Authority (DLA). Ensure service standards on Turnaround Time for credit application processing are consistently met Ensure compliance with Internal Credit Policy and Procedures, Local Operating Procedures (LOP) for Program Lending, Statutory Guidelines (BNM/ GP Guidelines, Exchange Control Regulations, Basel II Requirements) and Legal Principles of Lending. Provide guidance to credit personnel to improve credit quality. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - . Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.. - . Preferably possess Business Professional Certification by Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) or Credit Skill Performance by Omega Performance Corporation. 5 - 7 years of experience in SME credit/Program Lending of which 2 - 3 years in credit approval.
