The Credit Recovery Officer is responsible for managing the recovery of overdue payments from customers, maintaining low levels of non-performing loans (NPLs), and ensuring that all recovery processes adhere to regulatory and internal guidelines. The officer acts as a liaison between the institution and the borrower to negotiate payment plans, restructure debts, and take legal action where necessary.
