Job Description


The Corporate Secretarial: AM & M is an integral role in the Business Services team, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing exceptional secretarial and business support. The successful candidate will be located in Johor, Malaysia.

  • Attend meetings independently as required.
  • Ensure team members consistently follow internal policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and report potential risks to Senior Managers and Directors, recommending corrective actions when needed.
  • Oversee timely billing processes, including accurate recording of all Operating Expenses (OPEs), and ensure collections are made promptly.
  • Uphold best practices in corporate governance and maintain compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing of all client documents and statutory records, ensuring proper record management.
  • Participate actively in recruitment interviews and selection exercises.
  • Facilitate or conduct training sessions as needed to support team skill development.
  • Engage with prospective clients by preparing proposals and quotations for new business opportunities.
  • Communicate information and updates from Senior Management efficiently to the team.
  • Provide support to Senior Managers and Directors during their absence to ensure smooth operations.
  • Acknowledge client requests, queries, or correspondence within 24 hours and provide comprehensive responses within two working days.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, CS Guidelines, and other pertinent laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English; Mandarin language skills are a plus.
  • Experienced in the preparation and filing of statutory documents in compliance with the Companies Acts.
  • Capable of working autonomously while also being an effective team collaborator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to manage priorities and perform well under pressure with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Skilled in understanding and addressing the needs of both clients and the organization.
  • Experience with Public Listed Companies (PLCs) is essential, including hands-on in-house PLC exposure.
  • Manager/Assistant Manager: At least 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial roles.
