Job Description

Responsibilities:

Civil & Structural Maintenance

Inspect, monitor, and maintain building / warehouse structures, roofing, flooring, walls, drainage systems, and road works. Identify structural defects and recommend suitable corrective or preventive actions. Carry out routine and preventive maintenance programs to ensure long-term sustainability of facilities. Coordinate and supervise contractors on civil & structural repair, renovation, and maintenance works. Monitor project progress, quality, and cost control to meet timelines and budgets.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Support audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to civil & structural works. Maintain proper documentation for inspections, maintenance, and repair records.

Cost & Resource Management

Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and procurement for civil & structural works. Propose cost-saving measures and sustainable solutions for building maintenance.

Reporting & Teamwork

Prepare reports on maintenance schedules, inspections, and project updates for management review. Work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering team to support operational needs. Provide technical advice and guidance to internal teams when required.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or related field. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil & structural maintenance, facilities management, or construction. Good knowledge of building materials, warehouses, structural integrity, and maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Willing to work under pressure, irregular hours, or attend to urgent repair works when required. Valid driver's license B2 & D.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
