Position title: CSA Engineering Manager

Headcount: 1

Tenure: Permanent

Location: Kulim, Kedah

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x96\xaa Forecast and plan requirements for resources by discipline for project support;

\xe2\x96\xaa Provide technical leadership and raise competence of the detail engineering discipline;

\xe2\x96\xaa Supervise and lead a group of Senior and Junior Engineers;

\xe2\x96\xaa Actively improvise inter-discipline communication development;

\xe2\x96\xaa Actively improvise inter-department communication development;

\xe2\x96\xaa Develop staff management, training and mentoring programs;

\xe2\x96\xaa Explore new technology application

\xe2\x96\xaa Review technical specification sheets for major construction material items;

\xe2\x96\xaa Design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of process and basic engineering works;

\xe2\x96\xaa Reviewing engineering work for technical accuracy, constructability, costing and budgetary proposal meeting technical requirements;

\xe2\x96\xaa Identifying new technology and discussing with potential technology partners;

\xe2\x96\xaa Establishment of an Engineering Knowledge Database (including optimization of engineering standards and formats and optimization of engineering / technical library);

Education:

Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Civil and Structure Engineering

Working Experience:

Require minimum 5 years\' experience and excellent knowledge in Detail Engineering

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

\xe2\x96\xaa Good management skill, both hard and soft skill;

\xe2\x96\xaa Good knowledge of both local and international codes, standards and regulations;

\xe2\x96\xaa Familiar with Microsoft Office Application such as Excel, Words & PowerPoint;

\xe2\x96\xaa Experience in Industrial building design and construction;

\xe2\x96\xaa Basic knowledge in Architecture design and construction work;

\xe2\x96\xaa Knowledge of structure design software is an advantage;

\xe2\x96\xaa Strong background in design and construction management is an advantage;

\xe2\x96\xaa Strong background in construction cost estimation is an advantage;

\xe2\x96\xaa Fluent written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia;

\xe2\x96\xaa Fluent written and spoken in Chinese is an added advantage.

Special Requirements:

Willing to travel; domestic and/ or international
