What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

The Supply & Logistics Coordinators role is to process all domestic and / or international catalyst orders through SAP for Shell Catalysts and Technologies, ensure timely delivery of catalysts to customer, coordinate with external Freight Forwarders to secure vessels, prepare invoices, manage letter of credits as well as to maintain safe handling and storage, product quality and reputation by setting standards for returned products.

Role requirement

Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders within the regions as well as external stakeholders (customers, third parties, etc.) in multiple international markets.

Drive continuous improvement, coordinating/sharing best practices across regional SBO teams, and working towards improving the E2E sales and customer experience and logistics delivery.

Manage the E2E sales cycle from the quotation stage, manage the orders, arrange shipments, prepare invoices, shipping documents, billing, invoices and manage returns.

Responsible for real-time troubleshooting/problem solving, acting as the first point of contact for business and customers

Key Skills and requirement

International shipping / logistics related experience required.

Strong Import/Export knowledge and experience and documentation, not limited to:

Transport documents such as: SDS, Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, Customs Invoice, Packing lists, SAP invoice, CMR\xe2\x80\x99s/ Bills of lading and Letters of Credit

Good knowledge of SAP required, specifically the following modules: Purchasing; Sales & Distributions; PCA Reports

Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually, or as part of a team and build robust relationships with stakeholders, customers, and third parties.

Strong ability to prioritize multiple competing objectives and meet tight/demanding deadlines

Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to make decisions

Skilled level in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Adobe

Commercial acumen and ability to find acceptable solutions and options as may be required by the Sales organization;

Soft skills

In this fast-paced exciting and challenging role, you will need to rely on your ability to make quick/timely decisions, trust your instincts, and be creative with your solution-based ideas to successfully meet the tight and demanding deadlines.

Establish and maintain close working relationships with regional sales associates, regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) and regional SBO teams

Unpredictable workload; must adapt to sudden shifts in workload demand and escalate effectively for support to ensure business continuity

Keeping up with changes to SAP functionality

Industry knowledge: heightened security issues in transportation industry, customs organisations and refinery operations and trade and compliance

Ability to work effectively independently and work as part of ONE team

Energetic, enthusiastic and has the passion to learn the Shell Catalysts & Technologies business

Experience:

- 3-5 years of logistics or supply chain support as described above.

- Prior experience with China stakeholders is an advantage

Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management / Purchasing / Supply Chain Management / business or equivalent.7

Systems: Knowledge of GSAP and SalesForce would be an added advantage

Language
Mandarin Language Proficiency - strong Mandarin verbal and written communication skills.
