Operate curtain sider lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all road traffic laws and company policies. Transport goods to and from the warehouse, distribution centers, and customer locations as required. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of goods, often assisting warehouse staff to ensure safe handling of cargo. Inspect the vehicle daily before and after trips, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper securing of loads.

Requirement

Valid commercial driving license appropriate for curtain sider lorries Proven experience as a lorry/truck driver, preferably with curtain sider vehicles. Good knowledge of local and regional routes. Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks as needed. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required.
