Communicating with people outside the organization such as Customs and other government agency regarding new rules and regulations
Also act as customer service for specific customer in daily operation of transport service upon customer request.
Responsible for the logistic operation job, support logistics arrangements, liaise with drivers or contractors on shipments and customs related issues and maintain proper documentations.
Planning and manages service to customer, to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the trucking service to meet customer satisfaction.
Understand customer requirement and ensure the smooth facilitation of processing of customer's shipment within Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and timeframes.
Report to Supervisor for any discrepancy or issue.
C. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare customs form with complete and correct data.
Duty calculation
HS code clarifications
Checking documents to ensure all data is correct and complete for customs clearance.
Form cancellation
To check all K8 declaration released in SMK systems.
Ensure Urgent list given by customer service done.
Actively monitor Key Performance Indicators - perform root cause analysis and implement improvements if negative trends develop.
Handle inbound / outbound / domestic trucking activity on specific customer.
Promptly reply customer when receive new order.
Coordinate and understand customer requirement and arrange transportation and forwarding services as per customer expectations.
Update customer the status of shipment.
Proactively to resolve issues when require.
Expedites all critical orders with internal department and subcontract vendors.
Ensure on time delivery of customer's orders.
Ensure proper filing of documents before hand over to billing department.
Ensure indicate costing in each job file.
Follow up each Singapore temporary permit and transhipment permit to ensure all permit proper endorse.
Handle console truck planning for cross border inbound / outbound / domestic activity.
D. AUTHORITIES
Authority and Accountability
Authority
i) Maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, based on customer requirements, and work directly with stations to ensure understanding and adherence.
ii) Drive Process Improvement Initiatives and Corrective Action Plans with the customers
iii) Support customer services on shipment achievement
iv) Advise Customer services on new Customs and other government agency rules and regulations.
v) Provide complete documents to supervisor for customs clearance process.
Accountability
i) Ensuring the custom form software is always up to date.
ii) To manage operation cost to achieve cost saving and bring shipment marginal.
iii) Keeping proper physical & digital filing on all necessary documents.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum SPM or Equivalent
Diploma in logistics field is an advantage.
Minimum 1 year of forwarding environment and experience
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office/ Advance in Excel/PowerPoint will be needed.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
