Job Description
This role is responsible to provide customs services in Malaysia and to ensure of compliance with regards to Foreign Trade.
- To perform customs operations for Malaysia entities including duty optimization, trade control activities, local customs engagements on business process etc.
- To collaborate with customs counterparts to ensure legal entities eligibility for preferential treatment exemptions.
- Support to optimizing and monitoring customs duty payments through applicable customs procedures
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3-5 years\' work experience in the customs and international trade position
- Strong customs on-ground operations background
- Well verse in Johor Port process/systems
- Strong import export knowledge (documentations, liaise with local customs/MITI/Logistic Service Provider and etc)
- Exposure to working with counterparts internationally
