Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation, including K1, K2, K3, K8, and other relevant forms.
Liaise with customs officers, port authorities, shipping lines, and clients to facilitate smooth clearance and transportation.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any customs-related delays.
Ensure proper classification and valuation of goods in accordance with tariff codes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs laws, trade agreements, and duty structures.
Work closely with internal teams, including operations and finance, to provide updates on shipment statuses and costs.
Handle duty exemptions, permits, and any special approvals required for specific cargo.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customs clearance.
