The role is based in Kuala Lumpur and will work very closely with cross-functional team members from multiple regional offices, interact with Polyethylene technology group including product development, research and labs.What you will doWe are looking for an experienced individual who will play a key role in the technical sphere engaging external business parties including customers, distributors and value chain partners. Key deliverables include:-Provide technical support and maintain technical relationships with existing and prospective customers for safe and efficient product usage to support business development objectives
-Resolve process and performance issues related to ExxonMobil\xe2\x80\x99s Performance product
-Translate customer/market needs into new product development opportunities and support customer validation activities
-Participate and lead internal end-use sector teams to build and maintain market, end-use, competitive knowledge as well as global customer alignment
-Contribute as a member or lead of regional or global teams, typically in a virtual environment
-Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers of equipment and additives used by customers in processing our resins.
-Identify and pursue opportunities generated from cross functional market development teams.About youSkills and QualificationsTo be eligible for this role, you must:-Have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university
-Minimum 5 years polymer industry experience preferred
-Have interest to build technology depth and expertise
-Excellent communication skills
-Team player
