Liaise with customers on product quality issues and address concerns with corrective and preventive action plans, coordinated with internal manufacturing personnel.
Coordinate failure analysis on returned assembly parts and communicate failure parameters with customers. Define root causes for failure modes.
Manage internal coordination and preparation for customer visits and audits. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions from audit findings.
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely closure of 8D reports within the allowable timeframe.
Conduct periodic reviews and recommend improvement programs for QA procedure implementation.
Coordinate reviews of product FMEA and Control Plans when necessary.
Ensure customer quality control requirements are integrated into the internal quality control system.
Establish and review acceptance criteria (visual aids) for use by production and QA personnel for each automotive project.
Execute all projects and assignments as directed by the immediate superior.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Management, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing QA environment.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to lead Operations and QA teams to meet customer expectations.
Capable of planning, executing, and delegating tasks aligned with company objectives.
Effective communication skills across all staff levels and with customers.
Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of ISO requirements.
Solid understanding of QA functions and product audit requirements.
Proficient in automotive core tools, including:
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Control Plan (CP)
Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Process Audit (VDA 6.3)
Product Audit (VDA 6.5)
