Job Summary
The Client Services and Relations Officer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and referral sources, building and maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring resident satisfaction and loyalty. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for residents and families, providing timely and accurate information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resident and Family Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
2. Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, providing timely and accurate information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Issue Resolution: Resolve resident and family complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
4. Resident Support: Provide support and assistance to residents, including helping with daily tasks, providing information, and facilitating communication with staff.
5. Family Support: Provide support and assistance to families, including providing information, facilitating communication with staff, and helping with the transition process.
6. Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to promote the retirement resort and its services.
7. Sales and Marketing Support: Provide support to the sales and marketing team, including helping with tours, providing information, and facilitating communication with potential residents and families.

Education & Experience
1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, healthcare administration, or hospitality management.
2. Client relations experience: Minimum 2 years of client relations experience, preferably in a retirement or healthcare setting.
3. Industry experience: Experience working in a retirement or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of the needs and expectations of older adults and their families.
