Job Description

The Customer Service Specialist role involves coordinating with overseas agents to manage and track international shipments while handling inquiries, complaints, and documentation to ensure smooth operations. It requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to maintain performance and resolve issues in a fast-paced logistics environment.

  • Support the team in meeting customer service goals and KPIs.Coordinate with international agents to oversee and track shipment progress.
  • Manage inquiries and complaints related to supplier bookings, ensuring accurate billing and timely release of HBLs before vessel loading.
  • Keep precise records of bookings, invoices, and shipping documentation.
  • Monitor agent performance and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for issues raised by overseas agents.
  • Report unresolved problems to the Supervisor promptly for immediate resolution.

A successful Customer Service Executive should have:
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics, 4PL, freight forwarding, or customer service within the supply chain industry.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in cross-border or multicultural settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Skilled at liaising effectively with overseas agents and internal teams.
