Requirements

  • Possess a Secondary/SPM/'O' Level certification as a minimum educational qualification.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service within the logistics industry.
  • Exhibit proficiency in customer service principles and practices, with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
  • Possess strong logistics coordination skills, including experience in managing shipments and resolving logistical challenges.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Exhibit problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Possess familiarity with Tanjung Pelepas operations and logistics procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Possess experience in preparing and managing logistics documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work onsite at the designated location.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates on their shipments and logistics operations within Tanjung Pelepas.
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including shipment booking, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery, ensuring compliance with Tanjung Pelepas port regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, logistics activities, and shipment details in the company's database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential logistics challenges, such as shipment delays, customs issues, or transportation disruptions, implementing effective solutions to minimize impact on clients' operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of logistics services and alignment with client expectations.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service and logistics operations, providing insights to management for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored logistics solutions to enhance their business performance in the Tanjung Pelepas region
  • 5 days alternate Saturday work week
