Candidate must be posses min Diploma and above.
Have experience in customer service, sales, or pawnshop work preferred.
Strong communication and people skills for interacting with diverse customers.
Have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with pawnshop rules is helpful but not required; willingness to learn.
Have Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash.
Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced setting.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask accurately.
Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Integrity, reliability, and commitment to ethical standards in all interactions.
Responsibilities
Greet customers as they enter the pawnshop and assist them with their inquiries and needs.
Provide information about pawnshop services, including pawn loans, sales, and buy-back options.
Appraise items brought in by customers for pawn or sale, evaluating their condition, authenticity, and value.
Negotiate pawn loan terms and conditions with customers, ensuring compliance with pawnshop policies and regulations.
Process pawn transactions accurately and efficiently, including documenting items, completing paperwork, and collecting fees.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pawnshop floor and display cases, ensuring items are properly showcased and labeled.
Handle cash transactions, including accepting pawn payments, issuing loans, and providing change to customers.
Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly, providing courteous and helpful assistance to customers.
Assist in inventory management tasks, such as stocking shelves, pricing items, and conducting periodic audits.
Follow all security procedures and protocols to safeguard the pawnshop\'s assets and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive working environment.
