Technical support in the 6 business field (AG / EM / MH / PO/ BC/ MC) in line with the vision and strategy of the Specialty Tire Business Area and/or respective Business Field.

Product Steering; Performance Monitoring & Reporting- Assure steering of products in right applications
(for example by customer visits & application analysis; advising sales & customers regarding best product fit)
- Execute product performance monitoring (PPMO) of selected Conti & competitor products (priority according BF strategies)
(using agreed tools and platforms; including application descriptions)
- Report product performance results
(drive conclusions & actions out of available data)

Complaint Handling - Adjustment Policy & Warranty topics - Process* customer complaints in line with TCS guidelines
(*\xe2\x80\xa6SAP input (still with major support of sales team) & evaluate + decide & communication to market/ customer incl. 8D reports if needed e.g. for OE customers)
- Initiate & drive product improvement processes e.g. via O2I (Obeservation to Improvement) process
(propose tires for O2I incl. Application infos with TCS markets in lead; driving central O2I with central TCS in lead)
- Initiate & steer market actions
(to limit product liabilty risks; product integrity topics)

Technical Services- Create training material
(e.g. segment related product knowledge for internal customers / sales)
- Execute trainings
(internal e.g. for sales and external e.g. for dealers or end-customers)
- Market observation / benchmarking activities
(observe new competitor offerings - new products / services; propose & help to organize benchmark tires)
- Sales; R&D and Marketing (PLM) support /consultancy
(e.g. joint customer visits for technical support; support R&D requests regarding e.g. application topics etc; support R&D projects... )

Product Approval Process at customers and M&S Support- Drive product approval process at customers
(also project lead in case of new joint developments)
- Support Sales & Marketing Events
(support as technical expert for products & applications)

Qualifications

Education / Certification - University/University of Applied Science degree in Engineering or equivalent education with business experience

Professional Experience - Several years of professional experience in the automotive or engineering related field, good communication skills, high customer orientation

Intercultural / International experience - Intercultural competencies, i.e. experience of working in or with other cultures e.g. by working for an international company, very good knowledge of English language (written and spoken), high willingness to travel internationally

Others - IT Tools (MS Office + CRM), local Asian languages, dialects would be added advantage.
