What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing mid-to long-term supply chain strategies and networks through a range of activities. Some of the activities that you will manage include addressing capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business growth and execution of new programs. Your team will rely on your management skills while forecasting and planning key events, and new product launches. Your breadth of experience will be leveraged for increasing effectiveness of supply chain initiatives through monitoring key performance indicators and coordinating cross-functional work teams.

As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It

Demand Planning * Partner closely with Commercial to understand the Market forces in order to drive upsides to the business revenue, as well as minimize revenue loss and risk of obsolescence.

  • Accountable for the demand forecasting process through close collaboration with Commercial teams & all relevant key stakeholders.
  • Manage the alignment, and/or identification of the gap, of the commercial financial forecast with unit forecast and market activities.
  • Create, and continuously improve the process to derive an accurate demand signal for supplying plants, in collaboration with stakeholders such as Commercial, Finance, Above-Market (AMP) Supply Planning, Regulatory, and Quality Operations.
  • Provision of meaningful insight through analyses; understanding and maximized use of enabling and supporting tools.
  • Support the business in creation of budget forecasts using demand insight and analysis skills.
Integrity & Compliance

Manage & maintain the integrity of portfolio data in SAP APO-DP and SAP ECC and associated documentation. Ensure change management compliance with corporate standards and local legislation for change related activities, in particular where relevant GSC SOPs and policies are updated and maintained in a systematic manner Accountable to be proficient with the tools of trade; explore and apply use for the good of the patients we serve and financial health of overall business. Ensure consistent compliance with required regulations, policies and procedures, and Pfizer standards. This includes all applicable local, US, regional or international laws, e.g. SOX, FCPA, Quality, EH&S, Dangerous Goods, Trade & Customs.

Organization Management

Embraces the Pfizer culture by playing an active role to ensure a positive and engaged team in an appropriate work environment. Possess continuous improvement and innovative mindset to identify and drive Operational Excellence initiatives. Ensure attainment of the desired Market Excellence maturity levels. Lead and/or implement cross-functional projects to enable a lean and agile supply chain. Coach and guide other colleagues in order to build a solid talent pool within the team.

Supply Chain Operations

Liaise with Customer Fulfillment to manage 3rd party customs brokers to ensure timeliness and compliance of customs clearance process for inbound and outbound Liaise with Customer Fulfillment to manage 3rd party distribution service provider for local distribution activities (i.e. freight, replenishment planning & inventory management). Coordination of the redressing activities as required. Communication with local stakeholders on product supply availability. Work collaboratively with all key stakeholders internal and external to ensure transparency on requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, supply related strategies (e.g. allocation), promotions, financials, forecasting and regulatory compliance. Contribute to project team meetings as assigned and ensure update are provided as appropriate.

Sales & Operations Planning

Own & drive the full Market S&OP cycle activities, by ensuring appropriate content that creates transparency on significant past events and dominated by future outlook in areas of continuity of supply to the patients we serve; financial health through revenue and cost, as well as impact on reputation. Support S&IP process with AMP Supply Planning, Commercial & Finance to ensure the management of the product life cycle (including but not limited to new product launches, artwork changes, and technology transfers) and the balancing of demand and supply.

Supply & Inventory Information Management

Consults with and informs AMP Supply Planners of Market dynamics that influence continuity of supply, both through forecast adjustments as well as through dialogue when appropriate. Collects supply insight from AMP Supply Planners to provide timely insight to Market. Facilitates the Market Sales & Inventory Planning (S&IP), ensuring a platform for AMP Supply Planners to discuss any gap between unconstrained forecast and ability to supply.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of Clinical Supply Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical operations, understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes.
  • Knowledge of production and capacity planning, shop floor control, distribution planning and inventory control
  • Ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis
  • Develop effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and quick grasp and understanding of complex situations involving many moving parts
  • Fluent both written and verbally in English
Nice-to-Have
  • Master\'s degree
  • APICS and/or Lean/Six Sigma training or certifications desirable.
  • Process-oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in System Application & Products environment
