Job Title : IP - Customer Technical Support Client : Nokia MY Type : Contract (1 year) Location: Klang Valley (Hybrid) Salary: RM 10,000 + RM 2,000 (Standby claim - variable) ROLE PURPOSE: Customer Technical Support (CTS) position is responsible to support ticket handling and acting as the conduit between customer and TAC/TEC/4LS support. The CTS engineer primarily will work closely with the customer network operation team to support technical issue/trouble tickets closure. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task action items and manage time effectively. Candidates will be on an on-call roster with other team members to provide 24/7 support. A strong background in Nokia IP/MPLS and NMS products is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\xe2\x97\x8f Represents the Technical Support Service in front of customers, to explain or discuss trouble tickets and lead to ticket closure.
\xe2\x97\x8f Represents customer (interests) within Nokia for Technical Support Service activities.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provides customer-facing communication regarding operational, technical and qualityissues.
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform upgrades/retrofits, if within the scope of the contract.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide onsite support if required.
\xe2\x97\x8f Onsite/remote for outage support and liaise between customer and global supportteam.
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform scope under Professional Services such as Network Audit Service work, etc. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent.
\xe2\x97\x8f 5-7 years or more experience in IP/MPLS networks deployment and/or technicalsupport role.
\xe2\x97\x8f Minimum NRS II certified or CCNP/JNCIP certified equivalent. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
\xe2\x97\x8f Must have thorough understanding of IP/MPLS network theory with detailed knowledge of Ethernet transport technologies and IP/MPLS network. Experience in installing, operating, supporting, and troubleshooting IP network systems.
\xe2\x97\x8f Basic understanding of Network Management System and able to perform basic Linux commands.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to communicate through all types of media with customers, associates, management, contractors, and vendors.
\xe2\x97\x8f Must have strong work ethics, be well organized, and reliable. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis onaccuracy and timeliness. \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of Nokia SR Router solutions. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY AND ADDITIONAL SKILLS: \xe2\x97\x8f Good knowledge and strong background in IP technologies, Data Communication, LAN, WAN,MPLS, IP CORE, NAT and L2/L3 VPN services. \xe2\x97\x8f IP Certification and Multi-vendor IOT experiences are advantageous. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, knowledge management skills and workingexperiences on test equipment. \xe2\x97\x8f Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English. \xe2\x97\x8f Self-motivated and self-development/learning.
